SUBMISSION, MANUFACTURE and INSTALLATION

Varley and Gulliver has established itself as a market leader in the supply and installation of Aluminium and Steel Bridge Parapets and Aluminium and Steel Pedestrian Guardrails.

From receipt of order Varley and Gulliver produce layout drawings to show their interpretation of site geometry and how their product will fit. Once approved the product details are put into manufacture to coincide with the site programme.
Once manufactured, their dedicated teams of installers will erect the systems inline with the approved drawings.

Varley and Gulliver do not subcontract manufacturing to ensure from start to finish Varley and Gulliver are in control of their design layout and quality.
EDGE PROTECTION - REPAIRS AND REFURBISHMENTS

"Varley and Gulliver install edge protection over live traffic."

Having lane closures beneath a structure is time consuming and costly, but is often used when carrying out repairs or when refurbishments are taking place.
Varley and Gulliver can dispense with these on overbridges by installing edge protection over live traffic prior to the complete removal of the existing parapet.

Require an update on the European Standard EN 1317, American Standard NCHRP 350 or the European Standard EN 12767?

Get in touch and arrange for one of V&G's experienced and knowledgeable staff to attend a venue of your choice. They will go in depth with the compliance of EN1317 and where you, the resident engineer, could go that one step further to ensure the products you are placing on your project fully complies with the standard and above all, will perform as tested.

Varley and Gulliver can also provide presentations to the American Standard NCHRP 350 for vehicle restraint systems and the European Standard EN 12767 / 12899 for the use of Passive Sign Supports and their benefits as well as the consequences of not having passively safe products on the network.
